I heard of Michael Crighton because of one of his novels a friend of mine reccomened and lent to me. But I haven't read it and it is still on my book shelf. It was ages ago! I'm going to return it with another book by a Russian expat in American to my friend. That one I haven't read neither. I found it very hard to follow the English novel by a Russian writer. But my friend Mark, from American, said it's ok with him.

I LOVE Dan Brown's books. If you're looking for good English language books of a similar genre, try Michael Crighton. Another of my favourite authors is James Clavell - in particular Shogun, Taipan, Gai Jin (which I'm currently reading), King Rat, Nobel House and Whirlwind - these are six novels (each very lengthy) in a continuous Asian saga. They should be read in the order written above. they are amazing books.
